‘Nettie’, a Fenwick Williams Double-Ended Gaff-Rigged Cutter

NettieHere is Nettie, a beautiful addition to the growing population of wooden boats on the Hudson River. She was built in 1999 by her original owner and French & Webb boat builders in Belfast, Maine. After 15 years of plying the waters off Belfast, she began her next adventure of exploring the majestic Hudson last summer. Some maintenance tasks completed this season include recaulking an area from the garboard to the waterline along the stern, monitoring and repairing a check in the stern post, and repairing a small split on the rudder around the tiller bolt.
